FSC Switzerland has launched its National Forest Stewardship Standard.
The standard has been developed by a chamber-balanced standards development group using a multi-stakeholder process, including two public consultations. A field test was also conducted. This new standard applies to all forest types. FSC-certified forest area in the country is currently at 50%, organised in two certification groups, mostly community-owned.
