General requirements for candidates
Candidates should have a desire to reach consensus on controversial issues, through the principle of shared values. They need an understanding of the FSC systems and procedures, including those related to FSC controlled wood. They should also have expertise in communication, labelling, and market development. Furthermore, a firm commitment to spend the time indicated for participation (about 25 hours and potentially one in-person meeting in Germany until the end of February 2020) is a pre-requisite for an application.
